The Favorite Book Charity
The Favorite Book promotes education where it’s dearly needed, particularly among underprivileged children in Kenya.
Born in Kenya, I was raised by my mother, who worked through faith and diligence to provide for our family. Fortunately, by imitating her hard work and “never give up” attitude—and with the aid of government grants—I achieved good grades and made it through high school.
Miraculously, I made it to the United States of America on a soccer scholarship and earned two college degrees, and a Masters in Business and Sports Management.
Undoubtedly, education is the best gift I have received. And without help from people like you and I, kids without a mother to imitate may never have the opportunity to redefine their future.
That’s why the Favorite Book advocates for education and gathers resources to help provide underprivileged children with textbooks and other school supplies.
To that end, $1 from every WePo Kit sale will go to an orphanage/children’s home in Kenya. Over the last five years, I’m proud to say we’ve raised enough money for various supplies, books, and even a goat for their Christmas festival!
